Kompolti is an excellent Hungarian dioecious industrial Hemp Strain cultivated throughout Europe.

It is the result of the selection work carried out more than 20 years by an expert breeder/geneticist prof. Bócsa. To the best of our knowledge it was developed with the combination of Chinese, Hungarian and probably Italian materials, characterized by a high level of vigor and wide adaptability to different environments.

Originally it is a genetics developed to produce fiber biomass but produces satisfactory quantities also in terms of seed and inflorescence. It has been a world leader in fiber for decades, but is still among the best at 30-32%. Its path-producing ability is very good, it can produce 11-12 tons under optimal conditions. The Kompolti variety is not only one of the best fiber types, but also stands out among the CBD varieties. The color of its leaf is medium green, with many leaves on a petiole. The densely branched stem is dark green, moderately ribbed. The shell of the seed is greyish brown, moderately networked.

The fragrance of the inflorescences is fresh with citric notes of lemon (terpenes like: Ocimene, Beta myrcene, Guaiacolo and significant quantities of Beta carophyllene) .

Kompolti is the most famous genetics used in the creation of Cannabis Light strains.
